My Moody Sabrina

Sabrina was my easiest baby, but she has not been an easy child. Besides wanting a LOT of one-on-one attention, her crying fits are quite dramatic. She is very moody and can go from happy to sad to happy again way too quickly.

Sabrina decided pretty quickly that she didn't like playing billiards. But instead of quitting, she played looking like this.
You can't really tell that she's pouting here, but she is. She was upset that by the time we made it to the Art Festival, they were taking everything down and we only had time for one face painting since that booth was still up.
Minutes before I took this one she was so happy after coming off of a pony ride and out of the petting zoo. She got bored walking around for 5 minutes at Gardner Village. I didn't take any pictures of her after this one that day.

This was just a week or two ago. I can't remember why she was upset, but she just went from bad to worse!

See her tear on the left side of her face???
Minutes later, she has red eyes, but is happy again. Oh, boy, am I in for some trouble when she gets to be a teenager!!!!

  1. The last picture makes me laugh because Alex is actually smiling!...like he thought the picture was going to turn out well anyway. He must be used to her crying. Hopefully she pleateaus on her moodiness. ;o)

  4. Yes, Pam, she is in first grade. She's not the only one??? Maybe that's good. Maybe that means it's a phase that she'll outgrow sometime before the teenage moodiness hits. (Here's hoping!)

  5. Each child is different. It's always a guessing game. Hopefully she'll grow out of it and be not only beautiful but happy too!

  7. As I read your post, I couldn't help but think of my own children...one in particular who is so much like Sabrina. We never know how she is going to react at things. It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one with those problems!!

  8. Sabrina, Elisa, and Alex are so pretty and handsome! They are all growing up so fast. How on earth does it happen that they get older so fast, and their parents (and grandparents) never seem to age, right? Ha! I hope Sabrina will outgrow this moodiness, but you never know. I guess I was a little like that at that age, and I am not certain I've outgrown it yet!
