Everybody has their own version of Sloppy Joes. I've been making this one for a really long time. Sloppy Joes
3 lb. lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
½ c. barbecue sauce
½ c. ketchup
1 t. salt
½ t. pepper
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
Brown ground beef, onion, and green pepper together, stirring frequently. When meat is cooked, add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Serve hot on hamburger buns.
